      I didn't know he tried to commit suicide. Read the book, it's adds a lot to the movie like how "Dances With Wolves" got his name......

        I read the question wrong. "Stands with the Fist" was in mourning. She wasn't trying to commit suicide, that's what the Indians did while in mourning.....
