    why is a man 73 begining to lose his balnce???

    Has he had his ears examined recently, could be something to do with it.


    Better to get checked at the doctors though.

    Can be to do with the inner ear, my wife had a problem with hers and it started with loss of balance. She was out on her bike one day and just fell off, she didn't know how it happened at the time. Best see a doctor though because it could be more serious, and the sooner you see a doctor the better.

    Yes, I have had friends with that problem.  One man is a dairy farmer, in his job, he must bend over about 3 times per cow to milk them.  When standing back up, he would get light headed and dizzy.  He saw Dr. and they found he had an equilibrium problem in the inner ear.  He has been on meds for this for years now, only if he misses a pill, will he have the sensation, go see your Dr. and get checked out.  It isn't result of your aging, as another friend had same when he was 50, and the above one was in his 50's.
