The 3disc player on my Teac Digital Compact Hifi System keeps getting stuck. Sometimes it doesn't register the disc, the drawer doesn't open and close, and then the whole system freezes and I can't even turn the hifi off without disconnecting the power cord. Any suggestions please?

We aren't really a tech support site which is why I sent you to them. akaQA is more general questions and answers. I'm still trying to teach the members here how to use the app tools, lol

If anyone else (who knows what they are doing) can suggest anything, I would appreciate that as I am on a very low income and cannot afford to pay for repairs, but am reasonably handy and managed to fix my washing machine in the past by using forum advice.Thanks.
