Starting on June 28th 2011, the Federal Government prohibited drop-gate cribs from being produced, sold and used. For this reason, we cannot recommend that you continue using any cribs that are equipped with a drop-gate. Also, because of the strict regulations set around this issue, we are unable to provide any conversion from drop-gate to fixed-gate.
If you are unsure whether your crib has a drop-gate or not, please see the list below.
aaBerg Furniture produced and sold nursery furniture for the last fifteen years. Whether the furniture was produced in our New Jersey factory or by our overseas partners, the emphasis was always on safety and quality.
Berg cribs have never been recalled and the many drop-gate cribs we shipped in the past were reliable and safe. The hardware was produced by a US manufacturer and built the "old fashioned" way: Solid and reliable!
We were committed to maintaining the availablity of parts and hardware for as long as we could. Recently, however, we have run out of supplies and are no longer able to provide them. We apologize for any inconvenience.
