    why won't My linksys re1000 set up

    Well, first the cd setup tells me to switch to a microsoft wireless manager (i'm currently using a linksys e3000 router, which uses a linksys wireless manager) so I do, then it always tells me it can't find the extender

      Did you try Linksy support? They are free. >> http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/support/linksys/ They have a free phone number too and will walk you through the set up process.
