I need to know exactly how many blocks there are between 55 E. 102nd St, New York to Metropolitan Hospital which is located on(99th Street 2nd Avenue New York) I need it to be in blocks, I know its .7 miles, but what is the distance in blocks. Please respond asap. Thank you

City blocks are often considered to be 20 for every mile. If there were .7 miles it would be 20 x .7 (14 blocks). The length of the streets between NYC avenues going east and west tend to be greater than the length of the avenues going north and south. Try mapquest.com and enter the two coordinates; this should provide the most precise measurement you'll be able to see the distance, the streets crossed. Also, using Google Maps, you might be able to access the actual route w/ real photographs.
