Turn on the laptop computer. Plug the Webcam into the bottomUSB port on the back of the computer.Point the camera to where the action will be, as close as is feasible, to maximize audio quality.Adjust the laptop audio properties and voice recording volume to maximum level. Make sure muteis off.On the computer desktop, double click Windows Movie Maker.Click on "Capture from Video Device" in the upper left corner. This opens the Video Capture Wizard.Make some noise near the camera and watch the microphone input levelbar. The bar will move up and down to the noise.If the bar moves, proceed to the next step.If the bar does not move, make sure mute is turned off, and the audio properties are at maximum levels.
Click "Next"Enter a file name for your video.Click "Next."Accept the default video settings.Click "Next."A window will appear showing what the camera is going to capture. Make adjustments accordingly.Click Start Capture.When you are finished, click Stop Capture.Click "Finish." The video will be saved on the computer desktop.
