You don't have to empty the gas tank.

Buy CRC Fogging Oil Spray. Found in boating stores and very few automotive stores. You need to remove the sparkplugs, spray the fogging oil into the spark plug holes for 5 seconds in each hole, then reinstall the spark plugs.

The fogging oil will keep your engine lubricated so that it does not rust or wear out during the winter.

Next, remove the battery and plug it into a trickle charger throughout the entire winter.

And cover your jet ski and raise the front up. You don't wan't rain water to get stuck in the leg spaces because when the water freezes into ice, it expands and cracks the fiberglass material that the jet ski is made out of.

When it comes time to use the jet ski, you need to summerize it. Reinstall the battery, pull the choke level, turn the gas lever on, make sure the oil level is full, and try starting it.

Spark Plugs need to be replaced every other year. Just replace them every season.
