She sailed from the Mersey to Inverkeithing, 8 May 1952, where the long-serving vessel was scrapped.[4] Her fine oak carved panelling and ship's furniture are now installed in the splendid Ships Room in the Visitor Centre of Glenfarclas Distillery at Ballindalloch on Speyside.
