It's up to you...It's your right to have a word with the Manager...but as you say the girl was very young...and she may have felt intimidated herself by these rough guys...I myself would let this one off go!..(Annoying as it is)!... It's wrong that it happened and that you too were intimidated by the men and the situation...but It was a one off and to me safety comes first so I
wouldn't let it ruin my day!...Maybe you'd be better off eating somewhere more relaxing next time?...(You could always jump the queue at the supermarket today..?Walmarts no doubt)?;) if it makes you feel better)! No just kidding...two wrongs don't make a right!! ;-0

geez Itsmee that happens to me all the time. But usually it's little old ladies that get the preference to me. Grin & bear it is about all you can do. The management is usually not interested,they will just smile & give it lip service if you complain. So......don't get mad...get even! Keep them waiting when you pay the bill by being unable to find your credit card in your purse. Pester the waitress  for all the minor things you can think of like a fork that isn't spotless,spill water on the table cloth.Drop your napkin on the floor & insist on a clean one.

My guess is the workmen were regulars...many restaurants count on the regulars.  Doesn't make what happened to you right, but I'm with millie and don - life is too short too le this experience claim anymore of your time.
