As pythonlover says, if you have a little box above the emails click it, that should tick all the boxes beside the emails, then click delete, they should be gone.

nope....I don't have that little box above all the emails
There is usually a little box at the left hand side of each message, and then another above all the little boxes. Are you sure you don't have these?

Have you got a box that says ALL ? If so, when you bring up your emails click ALL, then click Delete.

that's the prob. I don't have an " all " box, and I don't have a box to check above all the emails.
