You are back gardening.... now, that is wonderful. I imagine you bring love and joy to all things you do, frying fish included. (Although I am happy not to be attending quite so many family funerals... exhausting business that is.).
We are busy busy busy this summer... I am thinking of putting a revolving doorway in and hiring a concierge. BELL BOY!!!

I have kids' art all over our house. This is like their art but the idea is very adult and helpful. If we could give out ribbons, yours would be Blue for first prize.

I would like to draw and paint well. My story would be a woman standing at a fork in the road, undecided which way to go. The catch is, there aren't just two choices; there are many, many roads from which to choose. Each one goes for a short distance, and then is hidden by trees and ferns, so you can't see where you'll end up. It's a pretty picture, and you can't see the woman's face; she has dark hair to her waist, and is wearing jeans, a chambray type shirt, and tennis shoes.

I've done that upside down drawing. I used the example of a king that they show in the book on that subject. My king turned out amazingly well. I bought paper and pens and frames a few weeks ago. They layed around on the diningroom table until I was told to either use them or put them away. I put them away ... maybe later.

hi fishlet,for me i would like to restore any Australian holden car from 1948 to 1955....odd as it sounds..but it would take me back to a young age of sheilers and rockers and a lost time....

My daughter and I took an art class at the School of Design here in RI. My daughter did not realize that there would be nude models, and she was a little embarrassed being there with me. She was about 30 at the time. In a couple of weeks she sat across, rather than next to me. At break time, we would laugh at our "talent". It was good bonding and fun.

This didn't happen. The very first day of class a barefoot man in a white terry bathrobe came padding through our class and positioned him self in front of us! The instructor shouted "Don't just stand there. Grab your charcoal."

I`d do clay modelling..(like you I know)!;-)...If it`s as much fun as it was when I was at school:)...I was C5 years old in kindergarten and we were told to create something for our Mums/Moms...so I made my mum an ASHTRAY!!lol...I`m not sure who was most horrified ?!..The head Mistress or my mum?!;)...I think a few phone calls were exchanged!!;-)

The dollar store was selling ashtrays like we used to see EVERYWHERE. They were clear glass, square and ugly. I thougt it might be fun to buy about ten of them and put them all around the home of a friend ... kinda sneak them in. When found someone would get a BIG surprise.
(I live in California where it is illegal to smoke in town in some places. In other places you can't smoke in your apartment. I hadn't seen an ashtray for months and the dollar store had a lot to sell.
