        If it`s bad then see your G.P...You may need antibiotics..Drink plenty of fluids,garle with an anti-bacterial mouthwash or warm salt water..take analgesia/anti-pyretic if your temperature is high..eg paracetamol..check with pharmacist and never exceed the stated dosage!..honey and lemon drinks soothing..(I am not a Dr.and can`t prescribe..it`s just my advice..If in any doubt please see G.P).
