        There was snow already, as of 9/22/12 in MN, and WI of the continental US, however, as early as August in AK.  Here in RI, we usually get it by late Dec.   So yes it depends where you are asking about.

            Depends on where you live. It's near impossible to find out which day exactly it will snow however.
