Dar, I was born and raised in the only part of the world that "the" word is used. You don't live there nor do you speak French. Yet, you stubbornly insist on knowing the true nuanced meaning of a word that you may have heard used no more than 10 times in your lifetime while I have likely used thousands of times in mine. It would be like me trying to correct Romos on the true meaning of a Scottish Gaelic word.

Actually, if you spent more time answering questions on the Unanswered side of the board, you'd see that people quite often use "language" in all different languages. You and FB have exchanged "phrases" before, also.
I wasn't bailing any one out of anything. As a moderator, I see a problem happening with the use of foreign phrases and words on an English speaking site. Let's keep it all in English unless you are answering a foreign language question. This stops any future problems.
