    Volume of a cylinder formula:

    V = pi(3.14) * r(radius)squared * h(height)

           r = 7cm^2 = 49cm

           h = 24cm * 49cm = 1176cm

           pi = 3.14 * 1176cm = 3692.64cm^3

    Since you are finding the volume, the units are cubed.

    Answer: 3692.64cm^3

    Volume of a cylinder=cubic area x height   radius 7cm height24cm   ~Mike McMacken~

    A=pie X r^2      3.14 x 7 x 7 =153.86  A=153.86cm^2

    V= 153.86 x 24      V=3692.64cm^3

    V= 1453.795276in^3

    V= 121.1496063ft^3

    V= 40.3832021yd^3

    V= .02294500119miles^3
