No, true...many Irish have dark hair...almost black, with blue eyes.

I was born with blue eyes, and very dark hair.....almost black. My grandma said that combination was unsual, but pretty. Now, my hair is gray, but I keep it colored brownish gold.
When I was younger,had dark hair, and wore contact lens, I got a lot of compliments on my eyes. But, now, they have become gray. I didn't know your eye color could change.

I have hazel blue eyes...they can be as blue as a sky on a cloudless day, gray, and sometimes almost green....but I was born with blue eyes...I"ve been told that my eyes reflect my mood- this I believe as a Scotch Irish lass :)

are both recessive characteristics and due to the

rarity in a predominantly brown haired, brown eyed

world, it's considered more desireable or attractive

by some. Everyone has their own preferences, though.

I'll never love blue eye again! No only kidding! my guess is that they seem to be more attractive and usually accompany with good look, well that is if you have the personality to go with it.

I was making a joke on getting a black eye or pink eye. Neither one leaves anyone very comfortable.

I still (willingly) harbour my 'teenage angst'..in fact 'embrace it' is a better descriptor...it makes my kids nuts...'MOM' they yell in unison...'you're not a teenager!!!'
