In order to open a business in some areas/cities/towns etc. there are rules a business must adhere to.  Parking is one of them.  Wheel Chair access may be another.  A certain amount of bathroom stalls is another.

For the non drinkers and designated drivers probably.

For the responsible drinkers that stick by the rules.

This probably is a thought that doesn't occur to many but....did you know that you CAN go to a bar and NOT drink alcohol?  Wow!

Some people go to socialize without drinking.

Not everyone drinks alcohol, there is also a limit, a couple of drinks after work would generally not take the person over the o.o5 limit, some people appoint a designated driver and some establishments offer a courtesy bus, some of the cars may also belong to staff

I've been known to drive in for a couple to get me ready for the long trip home........

the parking lot is usually the place to urinate and puke fro m what  have seen lol
