Instructions
1
Disconnect the spark plug wire and remove the key from the mower's ignition. Disengage the blade and lock the lift lever in the level adjustment position. Put on work gloves to protect your fingers from being pinched.
2
Detach hair pins and washers from the adjuster arms and suspension links. Detach the mower's front hanger from its axle support. Pull the mower drive belt from the stack pulley, and push the mower deck through the right side of the mower.
3
Remove the mower drive belt by pulling the belt retainer away from the idler pulley, right mandrel pulley and left mandrel pulley.
4
Route the replacement drive belt along the same path as the belt you removed. Thread the belt around the mandrel pulley, left mandrel pulley and idler pulley while you pull the belt retainer away from each pulley. Use care to position the belt's "V" side against the mandrel pulleys.
5
Reattach the deck to the mower, reversing the steps you used earlier to remove the deck.
