    distrustful of human nature: doubting or contemptuous of human nature or the motives, goodness, or sincerity of others
    sarcastic: mocking, scornful, or sneering

    Recently a member asked if some girl was going to love him forever. 
    I replied, "What makes you think she loves you NOW?" 


    This can be considered a cynical answer; distrustful, mocking, sarcastic.
