if your phone has gps it can be tracked but if not , you may just have to not lose your phone again...

Try searching the lost phone for few hours by calling its number, searching in places you've been to lately, and asking friends / co-workers / family whether they had seen it. If you don't find it and believe you've done all you could in order to find it, call your cellular company and report you lost your phone so that the company will freeze your account.
