      Are you the only one in your house that uses the computer? akaQA is a web site, it is not a virus and does not contain a virus.  I'd be in trouble if it had a virus as I've been an active daily member here since March of 2011.

        I am the only one that uses this computer. I went to this site only when I saw that I had apparently been visiting it every day. I suspect they get paid by how many people view their advertising or something, and therefore have something that creates false visits to their site. (from original poster)

          No, sorry, that's not how this site works. In order to create history, you have to send your search engine to an address. If you have an ask a question button on your tool bar, that is akaQA. If you click it, you come here.
