I was watching a story on him, he was a gracious man whom never allowed what he had achieved to go to his head, from his flying in the air force , to becoming a test pilot and then joining the misson to fly into space a great story, it was great to see he went on to teach others afterwards.
May he rest in peace, I bet he is jumping around with the stars exactly where he belongs :)
