    recently bought a 12 cup coffee maker and can not pour the first cup without spilling

    Hi. We're a general question and answer forum.


    I'd suggest returning the coffeemaker to the 


    point of purchase, as it sounds defective and dangerous.

    Be real careful if  you are going to continue using this appliance.  I'd take it back, hope you still have the receipt.....

    You could always try 11+1/2 cups water so the pot is not quite so full!

    Sound to me like its more the pot, not the coffee-- Or do I mean the other way around. *confused*
