Close any open programs you may have running, especially your web browserClick Start > Control PanelIf you have Windows 98 or Windows 2000, click Start > Settings > Control Panel
Open Add or Remove ProgramsIf you have Windows 98 or Windows 2000, open Add/Remove Programs
Search for "Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer (or Netscape)" in the list of installed programs and click on itClick Change/Removeto uninstall the search barIf you have Windows 98, click Add/RemoveIf you have Windows 2000, click Remove
Follow any prompts that appearThe toolbar should now be uninstalled
