    What are the settings for the fuel and Air mix screws on the Carb

    I have been asked to look at a Stihl strimmer mod FS96 as it will not run properly.   I think I am not the first to have a go, and I'm sure that the mixture screws have been tampered with!


    Can you tell me the factory settings for these?

      Try turning them both in all the way and then one and a half turns out, while engine is not running. Should be a good starting point.

        These days  the settings are preset and not to be tampered with
