Because if the instructions were not there, someone would find a way or reason to sue the manufacturer.

The same reason as to why they put instructions on a bottle of shampoo.

The instructions are there just in case the soup eater's parents did not teach the soup eater how to use the stove, microwave or sun power.

Because if the instructions were inside the can, they would probably be too soggy to be legible.

My niece can't boil water without burning the cup....LOL

Anything that is to be heated should

come with "cooking" instructions.
