Name him after a male who left a positive lasting impression on you. Whenever you call his name a good vibe will be felt in your heart.

    George peter jack Jason

Leif (because the leaves generally change color and begin to fall from the trees in September).
I don't know that there are particular names that are best for September.  I like ed shank's answer.
Looking through a name book which gave meanings for the names and/or a brief history, was very interesting and helped pick "good" names for our sons.
    Alan/ Allan/  Allen/  Allyn/   means Handsome and Cheerful
    Andrew  means Strong and Manly
Matthew, if I remember, means "Gift of God".  There are LOTS of names from the Bible that are good names:  Abraham, Moses, Adam, Daniel, David, Joseph, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Solomon, etc. etc. etc.
If you have a favorite book or movie, perhaps a character from the book or movie???
My son and his girlfriend were going to name their son after their Maternal grandfathers.  They were duped into thinking they HAD to name him after his dad, and be JR.

    Any name except Osama.

    dig, how 'bout Obama ?

    Remember September?

how bout  Easop ? or  Jude, or Brooks . Or how bout Oz ?

The first one that came to mind was Steven. Give him a name that is common, but not too common.

    mycatsmom

mostly, just older men have the name Steven.....like 55 and older.
    (G)(A)(B)(B)(Y)

well he is going to get older isnt he? And old people aren't born as old people. Their name is steven all their life.
