          Thanks!!!

          When I volunteered for the Navy in 1944 the only thing available for me was Cooking, Washing cloths and waiting of the Officers.

          I chose waiting on Officers, one of whom became well know in Automobile Industry.

          He was the guy that saw potential in me, as he put it and got me into what was basically an all white University after the war and where I earned my Engineering Degree.

          He got me started in the nearby Steel Plant and eventually in Automotive design. ;-)
