Thanks, but the example is of a car hitting a tree - a stationary object. This is not the case here. The car(#1)traveling 50 mph came into contact with the other car (#2)as it came to rest just over the center line at about 120 degrees from the perpendicular (after bouncing off a guard rail). The contact was on the right front quarter of #2 which resulted in coming to rest 180 degrees in the opposite direction. Car #1 with a deep scrape on the driver's side then travelled 150 feet and made a safe turn onto a side road. The question is: how much impact force was felt by both vehicls? Example parameters don't meet those conditions.
