      You are lucky the VW still has a transmission fluid dipstick located near the back of  your engine.


      Afrer checking the level on the stick, place a funnel into the dipstick hole slowly pour  the automatic transmission fluid into the funnel, stopping every once in a while  to check whether the fluid has reached the "full" marking.


      When you are  finished, place your dipstick back into the tube
