Contact "they" again and find out to what address "they" mailed the check.  If it was mailed two or more weeks ago, even the postal service should have been able to deliver it by now.
Tell" they" again that you have not received the check, and you would like "they" to issue a new one.  MAKE REAL SURE "THEY" HAS YOUR CORRECT ADDRESS.

I think the arrival of the check is the problem of the sender. As long as you didn't got the check they didn't payed. I think you know what to do if you didn't got payed, call them!

yEP..contact them to find out what has happened and when the cheque was said to be posted or  deposited into your account...they will be a record of it if it has been issued!
