How do you melt a styrofoam cup botom up, cut in 1/2 in. strips and have the strips curl outside?
Am making an Ocotpus melted stryofoam cup craft. You cut the bottom of a styrofoam cup and cut 1/2 inch strips within 1 inch from the top. Put in the oven, top side down, and when they start to melt and the strips start to curl down you take them out. I have tried everything and the strips keep melting inside the cup instead of out. You may have to experiment a little with this by wearing an oven mitt and coaxing the cup to do what you want by applying a little pressure while it is in the warming up stage...don't burn yourself and keep the place well ventilated...here are some instructions to look over again, click here>>>http://daniellesplace.com/html/under_the_sea.html
