Brush them with amonia & then seal them in a plastic bag for a few hours or overnight.Then take them out & wash them thoriughly.That will remove all of the residue then you can buff them up with steel wool.

Depends on what they are made of. Try salt and vinegar and scrub the hell out of them.....

I purchase Chux magical erasers, not sure if they are available where you are (I get them from the supermarket) but they shine absolutely everything,remove marks from walls and floors,in fact are good for lots of things,the best bit is is takes seconds and things look brand new
