I do not know where in the world you live or what your state, country demands but personally, I would hope there is some sort of examination first before allowing a 70 year old to continue driving a heavy vehicle. My class A license makes me get a physical every 2 years no matter what my age.

I reside in the UK and I refer to UK law. I agree with what you say but my question is what is the LEGAL requirement! Thankyou.
Then you can call your DMV and ask them. They will know. I live in the USA. I do not know your laws.
