Romos why are you taking that mate ? and whats your dose ? ask your doctor for a change being reliant on one drug is dangerous and it often ends up being addictive because they up your dosages..

OMFG That is very high have you tried a pain patch before?

    Or Jurnista?

But thats a bloody high dose matey ask if you can do an alternative :) just for a few months and you could easily go doen in dose and would be alot safer for you ...

I bet if you miss taking a dose by an hour your behind?

Ok they should be making you stop them slowly .. This drung is like smack, so slowly slowly you need to be taken off it , they can supply a different drug that helps with the withdrawals of this drug.

Ask your doctor for these options , I am lucky considering all of my medications are opids I should have the same trouble but you learn that when you need to uo your dose so to speak its best to ask your doctor for an alternative to what you are on example - oxycontin can be swapped for Norspan patches or Jurnista , then after a few months you can go back on to your medication without increase.

As it is your doctor whom has prescribed this to you he is also responcible helping you get off it. Its a shit drug and very addictive as are all opids they why you really need to use other pain management techniques, as drugs often are only a band aid treatment especially with chronic pain.

Good luck :) Do not give up , the Vitamin Niacin helps relieve addictive problems so keep that in mind ..

I take Tramadol intermittently,I find it's often inn-affective and switch back to morphine, the Norspan didn't work for me,I will enquire about Jurnista, patches are more convenient if they work, thanks wonder

Patchs are good if they dont give you a rash ...
Jurnista is pretty new so its like on order base no chemists stock it, so if you get put on it make sure you have 3 days worth of other medications until it kicks in fully ..

    Tramadol

    Description

Tramadol is a centrally acting analgesic (pain reliever) that is readily soluble in water. It is used to relieve moderate to moderately severe pain. It affects chemicals and receptors in the body that are associated with pain and may be used to treat pain caused by surgery and chronic conditions such as RSD (CRPS). It works by decreasing the body's sense of pain. It comes in tablet form and may be taken with or without food. Also marketed as Ultram

Side effects reported for the drug include agitation, anxiety or nervousness, blurred vision, constipation, diarrhoea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, flushing, headache, indigestion or heartburn, itching, mood changes, muscle tightness, sweating, uncontrollable shaking hands, upset stomach, vomiting, weakness. Occasional reports have been heard of more serious side effects such as difficulties with breathing or swallowing, flu-like symptoms, hallucinations, rapid heartbeat or seizures.
