Your dryer works on 220 volts. It requires a dedicated circuit. You need a qualified person to hook this up.

im not dumb as dirt i can do it if i new where the bare(neutral) white & black wires connected on back of outlet because thats ground hot & commond & you have to make it where you have 2 hot & 1 grund termanils on outlet i know the round termanil is where bare wire goes because it has ground strap on back of outlet with that terminal just dont know witch terminals black & white go to to make it 220 theres 2 flat ones & 1 v shaped one.
We are not saying that you are dumb .. I have friends whom have been fried fixing things. I would hate to be the person to show you the links you get fried and your family wonders why the hell you touched something that will cost you less than $40 ...If you ring an electrician they will tell you the right or wrong way...
