My friend Mark did this a couple of months ago. First he framed the counter top and then had two inebriated, smoked out helpers to mix the cement in a mixer, quick drying cement. In the end there was cement on the counter, trowled, cement on the flag stone floor, on each other, the walls, the mixer, the sink. Mark got directions off of Utube.

Perhaps more interestingly, the bezel uses a black-colored and Dia-Shield-coated stainless steel insert. While many other link brands, and even Seiko, often opt link for inexpensive aluminum or somewhat more costly ceramic inserts, the SPB sports steel. I've seen reports quoting other materials, but have double (triple, even) checked with Seiko U.S. and link Seiko Japan, with both confirming the bezel insert is stainless steel.

The most link obvious change over the watches' production was the bracelet. Original bracelets were aluminum with a unique zig-zag steel link buckle and button to release the clasp to allow the bracelet and watch to be laid over a map to calculate a distance with the 5mm links. Ingenious. Maybe too link ingenious.
