lindilou,they dont let the hair grow as an attraction to the acrobatics act. As the hair growth is genetic, how can they get rid of it? I have seen Docuntarys about some of these people, in South America, where different treatments have been used to stop the groth of the hair, and it was not successful. Gusss that they are trying to make a living in the Circus.Who will employ them other wise.?

This boy is from a family of acrobats in South America isn't he? My mom met him on a bus in Edmonton when they performed there...it's a genetic glitch (bones and teeth)! Too cool! ;)

He is actually nearly completely covered in hair now that he's an adult...as are his father and an uncle...all of whom allow the hair to grow!
It's part of the attraction to the acrobatics act!! ;D
