It was originally called PAIN CAPITOL, but trying to market hemorrhoid cream named PAIN was not considered a good business move or marketable.
BAIN is now the #1 selling Hemorrhoid ointment in the world because of that wise decision.
VOTE ROMNEY THIS NOVEMBER.

The U.S. really would be Pain Capitol if Romney were somehow to become president. I wasn't asking for a joke answer to the question of why he named his company Bain, rather than, say, Romney Investment or something that capitalized on his already famous family name. Is Bain his mother's maiden name, for instance, or the name of some Mormon founding father, or something with a personal connection to Willard Mitt?
In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at theUniversity of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the
Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior: "A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the MOST benefits from the public treasury (OBAMA) with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship."
I would rather have ROMNEY PAIN.

He entered the management consulting industry, which in 1977, led to a position at Bain & Company. Later serving as chief executive officer, he helped bring the company out of financial crisis. In 1984, he co-founded the spin-off Bain Capital (so named after Bill Bain), a private equity investment firm that became highly profitable and one of the largest such firms in the nation.
