Go backward about 10,000 years. Would love to see what the oceans and rivers looked like before man came around and screwed them all up.

Since it is impossible to travel to the future as the future is ever changing at each second that passes so can not be set in stone, I guess I would have to say the past if I had to time travel at all. I think a lot of people would not be able to handle the truth of the past. A lot of recorded history has been fudged and changed. They might run into some truths they were not expecting and they may go through a mind melt and never recover from it. It's best to just live in the here and now. The here and now is enough to accept and adjust into without adding into it the actual truths of the past.

I would say the past. There's a few things I would like to change since I already know the present. Four years later, I'm still grieving my sister death. I wonder if I could change what happen that day (get her to a hospital MUCH sooner) would the outcome still be the same? Do you make the present worst or better by changing events in the past?
