    how do I find out what programs are running on my pc so that if I don't want one running I can shut it down?

    I have audio popups that come up randomly whether I'm surfing the web or not. They sound like they should have video to accompany the audio but it's just audio. I don't know how to get rid of it and it's driving me crazy.

      Ctrl + Alt + Delete will open your task manager. There you would highlight the program/s that you do not want running and click, end task.
