      Not enough of a computer wizard to really know what you are talking about "transfer information", but when my computer acts up internet-wise, I shut it down, and turn off all connections for about ten minutes.  Then I start up everything and haven't had any problems. Just a quick "nap" for the computer might do the trick.

        Could be that virus that was all over the news. I survived but, maybe you didn't. Do what @Bob wrote and reboot.........
