      sam you need a mechanic to fix the fuel gauge as it resides inside the fuel tank and is a real job to get after...so see a mechanic. Peace.

        I read somewhere that a woman had a golf ball dropped into her tank. When she heard it rolling around, it was time to get gas.....I don't know that I would try this but it might work.......
