First thing, the door does not open? Why? Is it a remote lock issue? Is the door just jammed shut? Is the door hinge broken? For the light, it could be the switch mounted on the door frame that is pushed in to turn off the light when the car door closes. The switch may have a short. I think your car needs a mechanic.
