        I blew the rod and it knocked a hole in pan. shop said 3500.00..my jaw dropped...lol

          I am not sure if I would put that kind of money into a 13-year-old car. Normally when that happens and the car is that old, that is there way of saying they are done.

            It will not be just the oil pan,the con-rod will need to be replaced and the piston, also the bore will be scored. The car is dead.
