You NEVER really know until you experience things first hand!..I`ve never actually heard of anyone who`s fallen into a volcano...(Though there ARE a few friends I haven`t heard from in a while...perhaps I`d better check on them at some point today)!...NOT my idea of a fun day out!:-Z

You couldn't fall into an active volcano (erupting) unless you jumped out of a helicopter into it, and, of course, you would suffocate from the gases and burn up.
If you fell into a dormant volcano, the fall would probably kill you.
So, I guess the answer is....you die
