    x/2 = 15/6

    Note that 2 is 1/3 of 6.  What is 1/3 of 15?  (Divide 15 by 3)  The answer is 5

    5/2 - 15/6      2 1/2 - 2 3/6  (aka 2 1/2 )

    Cross-multiply. 6 x = 30; x = 5

    x/2=15/6

    First reducing the proportion to the lowest ratio, we get

    x/2 = 5/2

    Now, multiplying both sides by 2,we get

    x = 5

    hope you got it........
