    Brown some flour in the pan (about two tlbs) scraping up any brown bit. Add milk a little at a time, stir often to prevent clumping. Add S&P, stir until thickened to your liking........gravy is an achievable art.....

    I often use cider to make a sauce for pork chops, same as Julie, a little flour but instead of other liquid I use either apple or pear cider, I use alcoholic cider but it wouldn't make any difference, you can vary the amount depending on how thick you'd like it, orange juice and white wine is also a nice substitute
