I think Vizio's are great. Affordable and comparable to their higher priced counterparts. I have 2 Visios and have never had a problem with either. My higher priced 50" went bad 6 months into it. It would have cost me $800.00 to have it fixed. I threw it away instead and that's when I bought my second Vizio for $600.00. 

When I was shopping for a new LCD tv, I went to a local "member" discount store which sells hundreds each year. I spoke with the department manager and he informed me the Vizio's have far fewer returns and/or complaints than all the others they sell. I now have two, and couldn't be happier. They were also the least expensive, which gives more credence to what he was telling me.
